Cookies and Vampires? Combining blood sucking, half humans and the smell of mom’s homemade sugar cookies sounds a little bit on the crazy side, but when it’s to beat pediatric cancer these two are the perfect pair. Twilight star, Peter Facinelli, put the overwhelming number of twihards to work by having an old fashioned bake sale.
Facinelli teamed up with Cookies For Kids’ Cancer to raise money for research for those children suffering with cancer. Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is dedicated to raising money for new and improved therapies for children’s cancer. They hope that with the concept of a good old fashioned bake sale, they can unite communities, businesses, and people everywhere to raise funds in the fight against pediatric cancer.
